“Business Plan – The Spirit of Start-Up”

Objectives:
To learn more about Starts-ups
To learn how to implement a business plan
To learn how to present a start-up plan
The program started with a brief introduction by Pragna from 2nd year about what start-ups are. Followed by how an idea should be implemented explained by Anjanidevi and J. Akhila from 2nd year with a live example of raw material and the final product using that raw material. K. Akhila presented about different types of start-ups. To test the knowledge of the students a quiz was conducted by Sushma and T. Akhila from 1st year. An example of the startup Zepto was presented by T. Devi Priya and M. Pravalika. The students came up with different startup ideas with a budget of 50 lakhs. Srinidhi from 2nd year had explained how to start a successful dairy farm. A game was arranged to test the focus and concentration of the students in Sriya and Charlotte 1st year. Another idea about a start-up was presented by Meghana and Shivani in 2nd year about handloom clothes tied up with traditional weavers.
Students learnt what starts -ups are, and different types of start-ups. They understood how an idea should be implemented. The requirements to start a startup and how to generate an idea for start-ups. The students have also learnt how to plan for their startups on a given budget. Few students took this opportunity to present their start-up ideas. The students enjoyed the program thoroughly.
