Objectives:

To advise the students on the importance of education.

To spend quality time with the orphanage kids.

To provide them with some education requirements like books and stationery.

Brief Report of the Event:

The program started off with some casual greetings between the students and the kids of the orphanage. They have introduced themselves to each other. They have spoken about their life ambitions. Followed by the students explaining the importance of education and how will it be useful in one’s life. Then, they played a few games related to education. Followed by the distribution of the book and stationery to the kids. The program ended on a good note that one must share their knowledge with others.

Learning Outcome:

It was truly a life-changing experience for the students, and they were grateful for the opportunity to have met such incredible young individuals. During their time at the orphanage, they were able to interact with the children and observe their daily lives. They were struck by their resilience and positive attitudes despite facing many challenges. One thing that stood out to them was the importance of education for these children. Many children had a strong desire to learn and achieve their goals.

This experience has reinforced students’ belief in the power of education to change lives and break the cycle of poverty. It has taught them that education is not just about obtaining knowledge, but also about building confidence, developing critical thinking skills, and opening up new opportunities.
